Text Book v The Kindle EBook
Florida’s Clearwater High’s switch from textbooks to 2000 Kindles last March is still going strong, said Principal Keith Mastorides. We want a “Kindle in every hand”. Comment: It is 2000 text books missing from the printers order and a shorter print run means higher manufacturing costs. The higher the manufacturing price the less competitive the text book is against the eBook. It is going to be a relentless cycle.
